There are three images in the Floe series, each depicting a small, floating piece of a larger structure. The series speaks to aspects of interconnectedness and individuality, in both tangible and intangible ways.

Printed with oil-based inks on warm, terracotta-colored deckled paper (handmade paper by Sustainable Paper Craft), each print in this series has its own unique color combination, chosen to harmonize with its paper color.

The images are created in a two-color viscosity method using a collagraph printing plate. The printing plates were hand-constructed with collaged and sanded photographs, creating a soft and striking textural image.
