This monoprint is part of an ongoing series of handmade relief prints. It is printed with oil-based inks on a creamy light-beige color deckled paper (handmade paper by Sustainable Paper Craft). Each print has a beautifully pronounced emboss.

The images are created in collaboration with Chris Janks, a woodworking artist in Beacon, New York. Chris sends the cut wood forms to Laura, and she applies ink to the forms, arranging unique colors into each composition.
