Heliophile
The Heliophile series documents an exuberantly long and languorous visit to a summertime prairie.
Each tiny leaf painted, through direct observation and deep appreciation, tells a story of centuries-old biodiverse relationships, from the tiniest seedbuds to the rotation of the earth in relation to the sun.
The vibrancy of colors in this series reflect the light upon the prairie and its surrounding gardens, where in the summertime, everything is alive together and for each other.
